Welcome to Outdoorsdle, the daily fishing and hunting guessing games at www.outdoorsdle.com. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, simply do not use the site.
The service
Outdoorsdle offers free daily puzzles and companion field guides. The games are provided for entertainment; species facts are compiled from public sources and may contain inaccuracies — do not rely on them for identification in the field, fishing or hunting regulations, or safety decisions.
Accounts
- Accounts are optional and free. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
- Provide accurate information and do not impersonate anyone.
- We may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service (cheating infrastructure, scraping, harassment, attempts to disrupt the site).
- You can stop using the service or request account deletion at any time.
Fair play
The daily answer is the same for everyone. Sharing your result grid is encouraged; posting the answer before the daily reset spoils the fun for others — please don’t. Automated access (bots, scrapers) and attempts to interfere with the service are not allowed.
Content & intellectual property
- The Outdoorsdle name, logo, mascot, game design and site content belong to us. You may not reuse them commercially without permission.
- Species photographs come from iNaturalist contributors under Creative Commons licenses; attribution is displayed with each photo and the underlying rights remain with their authors.
- Outdoorsdle is an independent game inspired by the daily-puzzle genre. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to The New York Times or Wordle.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to publish a puzzle every day, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that your progress will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use the service — which, for a free game, is zero.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
